Jonathan Schranz, Musical Director
Jonathan Schranz is a conductor based in London, currently studying with Patrick Russill at the Royal Academy of Music. Since moving to London in 2015 he has built up a diverse career as a choral conductor and animateur. In addition to Brentwood Choral Society, Jonathan is musical director at the church of St John at Hackney, the Office Choir of Grant Thornton, the Fisher Consort and the professional Gregorian Schola, Graduale. When away from churches and concert halls he can be found in maximum security prisons leading choral singing workshops with the charity Sing Inside. Della Nicholson, Accompanist
Della studied piano and violin at the Royal Manchester College of Music. She has worked as accompanist with many local soloists and was for many years the official accompanist for the Chelmsford Opera Group under conductor Alex Ingram. She was Head of the Piano Department for the Redbridge Music Service until 2007 and has been the official accompanist for the Brentwood Choral Society since 1980 with a few years’ break in order to sing in the choir.
